1. Introduction

47 Industries ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you visit our website, use our services, or interact with our platforms including MotoRev and LeadSlicer.

This policy applies to all 47 Industries services, the MotoRev app, LeadSlicer, and any data shared between connected accounts. When 47 Industries builds and delivers a Pulse system for a client, the client operates that system independently and is the data controller for their end users. See Section 4b for details.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Personal Information

When you interact with our services, we may collect:

  • Name and contact information (email, phone, address)
  • Account credentials (email and password)
  • Payment information (processed securely via Stripe or Apple)
  • Order history and preferences
  • Communication history with our support team
  • Business information (for clients and partners)
  • Content subscription status (Playbook or Inner Circle tier, purchase date, billing status)
  • Newsletter preferences, interest tags, and email engagement data
  • SMS consent status, opt-in timestamp, and phone number (when you opt into SMS notifications)
  • Push notification device tokens, device name, and platform (iOS/Android) (when you enable push notifications)

2.2 Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect certain information when you visit our website or use our apps:

  • IP address and approximate location (country, region, city, and coordinates inferred via IP geolocation — see Section 13)
  • Browser type, version, and operating system
  • Device information and identifiers
  • Pages visited, time spent on each page, and referring website
  • Active session data including current page and last-active timestamp
  • App usage patterns and feature interactions
  • Email address and cart contents if you begin checkout without completing it (abandoned cart)

2.3 MotoRev-Specific Data

When using the MotoRev app, we collect:

  • GPS location and ride tracking data
  • Motorcycle and garage information
  • Ride statistics and achievements
  • Social connections and shared content
  • Emergency contact information (if provided)
  • Device motion data for crash detection (if enabled)

2.4 Affiliate and Referral Data

For affiliate and referral programs, we collect:

  • Referral codes and tracking information
  • Commission and payout data
  • Referred user information (email, signup date)
  • Conversion and retention metrics
  • Reward preferences (cash vs. Pro time)

2.5 LeadSlicer

LeadSlicer is a separate product with its own domain and legal framework. Data collected when you use LeadSlicer is governed by the LeadSlicer Privacy Policy. If you access LeadSlicer through an integration with your 47 Industries account, only the API key association and access credentials are handled under this policy.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill your orders
  • Provide customer support
  • Send order confirmations, shipping updates, and service communications
  • Improve our products and services
  • Personalize your experience
  • Prevent fraud and ensure security
  • Comply with legal obligations
  • Send marketing communications (with your consent)
  • Re-engage abandoned cart sessions via email (one reminder only)
  • Detect your country for consent-gate purposes (GDPR, CCPA)
  • Track and attribute referrals for affiliate programs
  • Calculate and process affiliate commissions
  • Provide ride tracking and safety features in MotoRev
  • Enable social features and connections between users
  • Operate LeadSlicer API access and lead management tools

4. Cross-Platform Data Sharing (47 Industries Ecosystem)

4.1 MotoRev — Data Shared When Linking

When you link your 47 Industries and MotoRev accounts, data is shared between platforms to enable integrated features:

  • Account identifiers and email address
  • Name and profile information
  • Affiliate code and referral data
  • Commission balances and reward preferences

4.2 MotoRev — Data Synced Ongoing

  • Referral activity and conversions
  • Commission accruals and payouts
  • Pro subscription status (for Pro time credits)
  • Account status changes

4.3 Unlinking Accounts

You can unlink your accounts at any time. When unlinked, cross-platform data syncing stops, but historical affiliate data is retained for commission tracking and compliance purposes.

4.4 LeadSlicer — Account Integration

When you connect a LeadSlicer account to your 47 Industries account, only the linkage itself (your 47 Industries user ID and API key association) is handled under this policy. All other LeadSlicer data is governed by the LeadSlicer Privacy Policy.

4b. Pulse Systems — Data Processor Role

When 47 Industries designs and builds a Pulse system for a client under a Build My Pulse engagement, the delivered system is handed off to and operated by the client. From the moment of delivery:

  • The client is the data controller for all end users of their Pulse system
  • 47 Industries is not the operator of the delivered system and does not have ongoing access to end-user data flowing through it
  • The client is responsible for their own privacy policy and data practices

During the active build engagement, 47 Industries may process client-provided sample data or test data to configure and test the system. This data is handled confidentially, not shared, and deleted upon project completion unless the client requests otherwise.

5. Information Sharing with Third Parties

We may share your information with:

  • Service Providers: Companies that help us operate our business (payment processors, shipping carriers, email services, cloud hosting, print fulfillment)
  • Apple: For App Store subscriptions and in-app purchases
  • Meta (Instagram): Your Instagram handle, user ID, and DM content are processed via Meta's Instagram Messaging API when you DM our business account
  • Printful: For print-on-demand order fulfillment (name, shipping address, order details)
  • Legal Requirements: When required by law or to protect our rights
  • Business Transfers: In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Affiliates and partners may see limited information about users they refer (email address, conversion status) solely for commission tracking purposes.

6. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data, including:

  • SSL/TLS encryption for data in transit
  • Encrypted storage for sensitive data at rest
  • Secure authentication using JWT tokens
  • Regular security assessments and penetration testing
  • PCI-compliant payment processing through Stripe and Apple
  • Access controls and audit logging
  • Secure API communication between platforms

7. Cookies and Tracking

We use cookies and similar technologies to enhance your experience. These include:

  • Essential Cookies: Required for the website to function properly
  • Analytics Cookies: Help us understand how visitors use our site (page paths, session duration, device type)
  • Preference Cookies: Remember your settings and preferences
  • Affiliate Tracking Cookies: Track referrals for commission attribution (30-day duration)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling certain cookies may affect website functionality and affiliate tracking.

8. MotoRev Location Data

MotoRev collects location data to provide ride tracking features. This data is:

  • Collected only when you actively record a ride or enable tracking
  • Stored securely and associated with your account
  • Not shared with third parties except as needed for emergency features
  • Deletable through the app's data management settings

You can disable location access through your device settings, though this will limit app functionality.

9. Instagram Messaging

We use Meta's Instagram Messaging API to receive and respond to direct messages sent to our @kzzy47 Instagram business account. If you DM us, the following applies to that conversation:

9.1 Data Collected

  • Your Instagram handle and Instagram-scoped user ID (IGSID)
  • Message content (text, attachments, reactions, postbacks)
  • Message timestamps and conversation thread identifiers
  • Derived classification labels produced by our automated triage system

9.2 How Your Messages Are Processed

Inbound DMs are processed by automated classification systems (referenced as "AI-assisted triage") to route the inquiry to the correct human-reviewed response queue. Classification is performed by Anthropic's Claude language model API, governed by Anthropic's privacy policy. DM content sent to Anthropic for classification is not used by Anthropic to train their models, per our enterprise agreement and Anthropic's commercial terms.

All replies are reviewed by a human operator before being sent, except for exact-keyword opt-ins to a public CTA (e.g., DMing the keyword "pulse" to receive a templated link to our learn portal).

9.2a Comment-Triggered Auto-DMs

Some of our public Instagram posts include calls to action like "Comment PULSE if you want the breakdown." If you comment a trigger keyword we have configured for that post, our system will (a) post a brief public reply on your comment acknowledging the trigger fired, and (b) send you a direct message containing a link to a relevant public resource on 47industries.com. This is an opt-in pattern: by commenting the trigger keyword in response to the post's public CTA, you are opting in to receive the templated DM. You can DM us "STOP" at any time to be added to a do-not-contact list, or block our Instagram account to prevent any further messages. Comment-triggered DMs do not use AI-generated content; they are pre-approved templates with your handle interpolated.

9.3 Why We Store DM Content

DM content is stored in our internal database solely for the following purposes:

  • Audit and trail of conversations for compliance and operator review
  • Responding to follow-ups and maintaining context across a conversation
  • Lead pipeline tracking within our internal CRM

We do not share DM content with third parties for advertising or model training. DM content is not sold, not used to retarget you, and not used to train external machine-learning models.

9.4 Retention

DMs older than 24 months are automatically purged from our systems. You can request earlier deletion at any time.

9.5 Deletion Requests

You can request deletion of your DM history at any time via our data deletion page. We will delete your data within 30 days of receipt and email you confirmation.

10. SMS and Push Notifications

10.1 SMS Notifications

If you opt into SMS notifications, we collect your phone number, consent timestamp, IP address, and user-agent at the time of opt-in. This information is used solely to send you service-related messages and is not shared with third parties for marketing purposes. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS message or updating your preferences in account settings.

10.2 Push Notifications

If you enable push notifications in the MotoRev app, we store a device-specific push token, your device name, and the platform (iOS/Android). This token is used exclusively to deliver notifications to your device and is revoked when you disable notifications or uninstall the app.

11. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access your personal data
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Delete your data (subject to legal requirements)
  • Object to processing of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Withdraw consent for marketing communications
  • Opt out of SMS or push notifications
  • Unlink connected accounts
  • Opt out of affiliate tracking

12. Data Retention

We retain your personal data according to these guidelines:

  • Account Data: As long as your account is active, plus 30 days after deletion
  • Order and Transaction Data: 7 years for tax and legal purposes
  • Affiliate and Commission Data: 7 years for compliance and tax purposes
  • Ride Data (MotoRev): Until you delete it or close your account
  • Communication Logs: 3 years
  • DM Content (Instagram): 24 months, then auto-purged
  • Analytics Data: 26 months (anonymized after this period)
  • SMS Consent Records: As long as your opt-in is active, plus 5 years for compliance
  • Push Notification Tokens: Revoked immediately upon opt-out or uninstall
  • Abandoned Cart Data: 30 days
  • LeadSlicer Records: Governed by the LeadSlicer Privacy Policy

13. Children's Privacy

Our services are not intended for children under 13 years of age (or 16 in the EU). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have collected information from a child, please contact us immediately at [email protected].

14. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

  • Stripe: Payment processing — Stripe Privacy Policy
  • Apple: App Store, subscriptions, and Apple Maps
  • Meta (Instagram): Instagram Messaging API for business DM management — Meta Privacy Policy
  • Cloudflare: Content delivery, security, and R2 file storage
  • Resend: Email delivery for transactional and marketing communications
  • Railway: Infrastructure hosting (database, application servers)
  • Printful: Print-on-demand order fulfillment (name, shipping address, design files)
  • Anthropic: AI classification for inbox triage. Governed by enterprise terms that prohibit Anthropic from training on our data.
  • ip-api.com: IP-based geolocation. Your IP address is sent to ip-api.com to determine approximate country, region, and city for consent detection and analytics. No account is required on our end; their service operates under their own terms.
  • LeadSlicer: A related platform built by 47 Industries. Data collected within LeadSlicer is governed by the LeadSlicer Privacy Policy.

Each service has its own privacy policy governing the use of your information. We select vendors that meet appropriate data protection standards.

15. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than your country of residence, including the United States. We ensure appropriate safeguards are in place for international data transfers in compliance with applicable laws.

16. California Privacy Rights (CCPA)

California residents have additional rights under the CCPA:

  • Right to know what personal information is collected
  • Right to request deletion of personal information
  • Right to opt out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • Right to non-discrimination for exercising privacy rights

17. European Privacy Rights (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process data under the following legal bases:

  • Contract: Processing necessary to fulfill our services
  • Consent: For marketing communications, SMS, push notifications, and optional features
  • Legitimate Interest: For fraud prevention, security, and abandoned cart follow-up
  • Legal Obligation: For tax and compliance requirements

18. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
