The Challenge
Missed bill payments are a common and costly problem, even financially disciplined users lose track of due dates across subscriptions, utilities, and loans. Existing reminder apps were either too basic or too complex, and none adapted their timing to each user's billing patterns.
Our Solution
Bill Notifier is a React Native app that lets users add recurring bills once and then handles all follow-up automatically. The app sends smart push notifications at configurable intervals before each due date, tracks payment history, and surfaces upcoming bills in a clean timeline view.
Results
Beta users reported eliminating late fees entirely within the first billing cycle after adopting the app. The push notification system maintained a 94% open rate, significantly higher than email-based reminders, and users averaged fewer than two minutes per week managing their bill tracking.
