Pricing Vibe Coding Services in 2026

What to charge when your stack is part-AI, part-engineer. The frame I use to price done-with-you Pulse builds, custom CLAUDE.md engagements, and full software builds at 47 Industries.

You can ship a B2B SaaS in three weeks. Some clients still expect a $200,000, 6-month engagement. Other clients have heard "anyone can do this with AI" and want to pay $5,000.

Pricing AI-augmented services in 2026 is harder than pricing them in 2022 was — because the market is split.

The two anchors fighting in your prospect's head

Old anchor: a custom web app costs $50K-$250K and takes 3-9 months. This is what your prospect's CFO believes.

New anchor: "AI does 90% of the work, so it should cost 10% of what it used to." This is what your prospect's youngest team member believes.

Both are wrong. But you have to position against both.

What we actually charge

At 47 Industries, our software services bracket:

  • Build My Pulse — $2,500 to $5,000. Done-with-you setup of Pulse on your hub, custom NeuralOS modules, team-as-agents wiring. 2 weeks.
  • Web app build — $15,000 to $50,000. Full custom web app, AI-augmented but production-grade. 4-12 weeks.
  • Mobile app build — $25,000 to $80,000. iOS/Android, App Store ready, owned IP. 8-16 weeks.
  • Embedded engagement — $10K-$25K/month retainer. We slot into your engineering team as a senior pair. Indefinite.

The frame that makes this stick

The prospect always asks "but with AI, doesn't this take 1 day?". Here's the response:

"AI writes code. It doesn't write the right code. The reason this engagement is $35K instead of $200K is because we built systems that route AI output toward production-grade — not because we just type prompts faster."

Then back it up. Show your CLAUDE.md. Show your verification protocol. Show a recent before/after where you caught a hallucinated migration before it shipped.

Three pricing principles I won't break

1. Never quote hourly

If a project takes 8 hours of human time but 40 hours of agent time, what's the bill? Hourly is incoherent for AI-augmented work. Always quote the project, the deliverable, or the retainer.

2. Anchor on outcome, not effort

The pitch isn't "we'll spend 200 hours on this." The pitch is "you'll have a production iOS app with 1,000 active users by Q3." Price the outcome.

3. Build a "no" tier

Always have a tier that's clearly higher than what your prospect needs. Otherwise the highest tier you offer becomes the ceiling on their imagination. Our Build My Pulse top tier is $5,000 — but I'd quote a Fortune 500 a $50K version of it without blinking. The existence of higher tiers makes lower tiers feel like a deal.

The most underpriced thing in 2026

Setup, configuration, and protocol design.

Anyone with a credit card can buy Claude Code. Almost nobody can configure it well enough to ship production code. The gap between those two states is what we sell.

Build My Pulse is $2,500-$5,000 because the actual deliverable — your team's agent OS, configured for your operation, with team members wired as agents — is something you literally cannot buy off-the-shelf. The price is what it's worth, not what the components cost.
