At 47 Industries, we strive to ensure your complete satisfaction with every purchase. Our refund policy is designed to be fair and transparent, while accounting for the unique nature of both our physical and digital products.

Physical Products

For all physical 3D printed products purchased from our store, the following return policy applies:

Return Eligibility

  • Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused and in the same condition that you received them
  • Original packaging must be included whenever possible
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Custom or personalized 3D prints
  • Items marked as final sale or clearance
  • Products that have been modified, altered, or otherwise customized after delivery

Return Process

To initiate a return, please:

  1. Contact our customer service team at returns@47industries.com
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. You will receive return shipping instructions if your return is approved
  4. Ship the items back to us using the provided return label

Refund Timeline

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will process your refund. The time it takes for the refund to appear in your account depends on your payment method:

  • Credit cards: 5-10 business days
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Bank transfers: 5-7 business days

Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping as part of a promotion, the standard shipping fee will be deducted from your refund.

Digital Products

Due to the nature of digital products (STL files and other downloadable items), we have a specific policy for these purchases:

Refund Eligibility

  • Digital products are eligible for refunds within 7 days of purchase if not downloaded
  • Once a digital product has been downloaded, it is no longer eligible for a refund
  • If you experience technical issues with a file, please contact our support team before requesting a refund

Technical Support

If you encounter problems with our digital files, we offer technical support to help resolve these issues. Please contact support@47industries.com with details about the problem you're experiencing, including:

  • File name and order number
  • Software you're using to open the file
  • Description of the issue
  • Screenshots if applicable

License Limitations

Please note that refunds will not be provided for misunderstandings regarding usage rights. All digital products come with a license for personal use only. Commercial use requires a separate license. Please review our Terms of Service for complete details on licensing.

Custom Orders & Prototyping Services

For custom design work, prototyping services, and other bespoke projects:

Deposit Refunds

  • Initial deposits for custom work are non-refundable once design work has commenced
  • If 47 Industries is unable to fulfill a custom order for any reason, the deposit will be fully refunded
  • For canceled orders, partial refunds may be provided depending on the work completed

Satisfaction Guarantee

We stand behind our custom work and aim for 100% client satisfaction. If you're not satisfied with your custom order:

  • Contact us within 7 days of receiving the final product
  • Clearly explain why the product doesn't meet your expectations
  • We will work with you to either revise the design or provide a partial refund

Note that reasonable revisions are included in our custom design process, and your active participation during review stages is essential.

Damaged or Defective Items

If you receive a damaged or defective item:

  1. Contact us within 48 hours of receiving the product
  2. Provide photos of the damage or defect
  3. Include your order number in your communication

We will arrange for a replacement or full refund, including shipping costs, for any items damaged during transit or that have manufacturing defects.

Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the same payment method used for the original purchase whenever possible. If this is not possible, we will contact you to arrange an alternative refund method.

Store Credit

In some cases, we may offer store credit instead of a monetary refund. Store credit:

  • Never expires
  • Can be used for any product on our website
  • Is often processed more quickly than monetary refunds
  • May be offered at a higher value than a cash refund as an incentive
